Senior Capstone Project

REQUIRED COURSE, 1/2 CREDIT: This yearlong, largely self-directed course for seniors culminates in a two-week spring internship, and equips students with specific skills related to communicating professionally through applications, resumes, cover letters, and interviewing, as well as understanding and advocating for their unique learning profile and recommended accommodations.

Friday Clubs

On most Fridays, students participate in self-selected club activities. Clubs are formed each year based on student interests.

Independent Study and/or Distance Learning

If a course of study is not offered by The Howard School, and with parent and school agreement, well motivated students may undertake an independent study or distance learning (virtual) course to pursue a topic of interest.
