We are so glad you are a part of The Howard School community. All adult family members of currently enrolled students are automatically members of the Parents Association, and we invite you to get involved! The mission of the Parents Association is to build community and support the school in a variety of ways. The Parents Association is involved in school life through:
Communications | Community Life | Fundraising |
Our Room Representatives and Division Liaisons work with teachers to promote effective dialogue between parents and The Howard School faculty and staff. |
We host and/or financially support various events and projects such as:
Welcome Back Community Events
Grade level and division student socials
Parent Socials
Book Fair
Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Faculty and Staff Appreciation Luncheons
MS Night of Reflection, Dances, and Poetry Slam
HS Dances, Evening of the Arts
Graduation Signs and Senior Gifts
Flower planters around the school campus
|
The Parents Association raises funds to support classroom and school events, teacher and faculty appreciation efforts, and various other needs of the school and its events. We also work with the Advancement office to make the The Howard School Annual Fund a success each year. |
If you are curious about how to get involved in the Parents Association, please reach out to us at parentsassociation@howardschool.org. It is vitally important to us that your family and your child feel connected and supported here! We invite you to volunteer, join other parents at Parents Association meetings, and get involved!
