Georgia Tax Credit

The Georgia Education Expense Credit Program is a win-win-win for taxpayer donors, scholarship recipients, and The Howard School community. In exchange for contributions to Georgia GOAL, our partner Student Scholarship Organization, you receive a 100%—or 1:1—state income tax credit!

This state income tax redirection program benefits children attending independent schools, like The Howard School. Redirected taxes are used to support students with needs-based financial aid arriving from public schools for our teaching expertise.

The Georgia legislature has nearly doubled the available credits, from $58 million to $100 million. In 2019, instead of being approved for only about half of the amount taxpayers wish to contribute, GOAL anticipates that participants will very likely be approved for an amount between 90% and 100%.

By simply contributing to Georgia GOAL for a 100% Georgia income tax credit, you will help maximize this source of financial aid for deserving families desiring to receive a Howard School education.

You have the opportunity to make this our school's best year yet in raising GOAL funds!
