Financial Assistance 2026-2027
We recognize that investing in your child's private school education is a significant financial commitment. Each year we provide over $700,000 in need-based tuition assistance from the school's financial aid funds and Georgia GOAL, to increase accessibility to a Howard School education. The Financial Aid Committee awards need-based financial aid to as many new and returning families as possible, and therefore full scholarships are not available.

To be considered for financial assistance, submission of all financial aid documents from all custodial, non-custodial, and step-parents (including most recent Federal Tax Returns, all supporting schedules and forms, and W-2’s or 1099’s) SHOULD BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 15. AVAILABLE FUNDS ARE LIMITED AFTER THIS DEADLINE HAS PASSED.
Since financial aid is granted to students on the basis of need and availability of funds, awards are granted for one year at a time and must be applied for annually.
Please note: Since we offer rolling admissions, the financial aid application will remain open for new families who apply for admission after December 15.
Financial Aid Steps
-
Complete the Howard School Financial Aid Request Form 2026/27 (available starting September 15). This is the only financial aid paperwork sent directly to The Howard School.
2026-27 Financial Aid Request Form
- Register and provide financial information through the FACTS Grant & Aid website at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid
The Howard School utilizes FACTS Grant & Aid as a trusted third party to help us objectively assess how much a family can reasonably contribute to an independent school education. The financial aid committee will also take into account unexpected family financial situations, the needs of our entire applicant pool, and the availability of funds.
FACTS Assessment Information
The Howard School reserves the right to request additional financial information from financial aid applicants at any time.
Please note: It is the responsibility of the applicant(s) to track the financial aid application from start to finish. Unfortunately, applicants who fail to provide the required information, do not follow the guidelines, or miss the December 15 deadline may not be considered for assistance, depending on the availability of funds.
