The Howard School Celebrating 75 Years of Impact on 11Alive

As we approach The Howard School’s milestone 75th anniversary celebration, our community was featured on 11Alive News Streaming. Head of School Dr. Anna B. Moore joined reporter Kaitlyn Ross to discuss the school's enduring legacy as a leader in education for students with learning differences in Atlanta.

Dr. Moore reflected on the mission of our founder, Marian Howard, and explained how the school has evolved into a resource for students with dyslexia, ADHD, and language-based learning differences. The interview further explained the differences in Howard’s class structures, assistive technology tools, and the relationships fostered between teachers and students that create the school’s successful graduates.

This feature serves as a proud recognition to our 75th Anniversary Celebration, honoring the leaders, families, and supporters who have been a part of The Howard School's journey since 1950.
