The Howard School was featured on Atlanta News First in an interview with ANF Morning Anchor Brooks Baptiste as part of our upcoming 75th-Anniversary Celebration. Head of School Dr. Anna B. Moore and high school senior Winston D. ’26 joined the live broadcast to share the school’s purpose, mission, and impact on students past and present.

During the broadcast, Dr. Moore spoke about the historical significance of the school and the importance of creating a specialized environment for students with learning differences to thrive. Winston described his growth as a student since arriving at Howard in the sixth grade, finding his community, and growing in confidence to become president of the Student Government Association. Winston says this experience was life-changing.

"It was truly a surreal experience of being featured on ANF," said Winston. “I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous, but you can’t let opportunities like that go by.”

The Howard School looks forward to welcoming our community of current families, alumni, and guests on Sunday, April 19, to celebrate this milestone.
