The Howard School Earns No Place for Hate Designation

The Howard School is officially a No Place for Hate school. No Place for Hate is a self-directed program by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) helping schools across the country to take the lead on improving and maintaining school climate so all students can thrive. Lower and Middle School Principal Dr. Tara Terry is very proud of the hard work, dedication, and collaboration shown by Howard students and teachers to reach this goal over the course of the school year. "Some people think that the path to success for children with learning differences requires constant focus on reading, eschewing additional activities that take place outside of the traditional classroom. We believe that the life skills learned from participating in a program like No Place for Hate are critical to the development of the whole child."
