Financial Assistance
Once your child has been accepted to The Howard School, you may apply for financial aid for the 2011-2012 school year. Please follow the directions for the Financial Aid Application Process.
All families asking for financial aid must complete The Howard School's 2011-2012 Financial Aid Application and return it to us via mail, fax or drop it off at the school. It is also necessary to complete the SSS Online Application. Directions can be found at Applying Online for Financial Aid SSS Flyer.
The Howard School serves students whose personal learning style may not be complemented in traditional teaching and learning environments, compromising the student’s ability to reach his or her full potential.
Students at The Howard School come from a wide variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, and approximately 25 percent of our students receive financial aid. A limited amount of need-based aid is available from our own scholarship fund.
Tuition for the 2010-2011 academic year is $23,100 for Lower School students and $24,100 for Middle School and High School students. While an independent school education must be regarded as a long-term investment, we believe that tuition expense should not be a deterrent to attending The Howard School. Our business office is available to help you find the right payment program and payment schedules to accommodate your budget. The schedule for the 2011-2012 tuition and Financial Assistance Application due date will be posted soon.
The Howard School participates in the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship program.
